Today, November 5, a murder took place in Yerevan. Around 6:10 p.m., the Shengavit Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police's Community Police Department and the RA Ministry of the Interior's Criminal Police Department received further operational information that a husband killed his wife with several stabs in an apartment in one of the buildings on Yeghishe Tadevosyan Street.
According to reports from the scenephotojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the operative group of the Shengavit police department headed by the head of the department Artur Mkrtchyan and the deputy head of the department Artsrun Mikayelyan arrived.
On the spot, it was found that the received operational information is reliable and in one of the apartments of the mentioned building, the police and patrols found the woman's body with traces of several stab wounds.
The officers of the Yerevan Criminal Department of the Main Criminal Police Department of the RA MIA Police also arrived at the scene.
Already on the spot, the husband told the police that he killed the wife with several stabs, after which the police and patrols took her to the Shengavit police station on suspicion of murder.
The information about the incident was transferred from the Shengavit department of the RA Investigative Committee to the Shengavit investigative department of the Yerevan investigative department, from where the investigative team headed by the head of the department and the on-duty investigator in charge of the day arrived.
According to the facts of the case, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigative department.
