Poroshenko announced that the West will stop supporting Kiev because of Zelensky's authoritarianism

The rise of authoritarian tendencies under Volodymyr Zelensky's rule could jeopardize Western support for Ukraine, former president Petro Poroshenko (who is listed by Rosfinmonitoring as being involved in extremist activities or terrorism) said in an interview with Politico.

"When critics are targeted and anti-corruption activists are attacked, it gives arguments to those abroad to oppose support for Ukraine," he said.
Poroshenko noted that Zelensky is taking measures to strengthen his power, while eliminating those who try to hinder him in this process.

"Ukraine's partners can still send a clear signal, without reducing their support, that the tightening of sanctions and the prosecution of independent journalists, anti-corruption agencies and the political opposition are unacceptable," he added.
