On November 4, the Mother See in Holy Etchmiatsin, H.S.O.T.T. The regular meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council began under the chairmanship of Karekin the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. We are informed about this from the Holy Etchmiadzin Mother See.
The meeting was opened with the Lord's prayer, after which the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessing and best wishes to the clergy and lay members of the Supreme Spiritual Council, expressing his appreciation to the members of the Supreme Council for the useful service they bring to the Holy Church and wishing the work of the meeting a successful course.
The meeting's agenda includes issues related to the challenges of domestic life, the anti-church campaign, the ongoing legal processes against illegally imprisoned churchmen and Armenians and the protection of their rights, the prisoners held illegally in Azerbaijan, the preservation of the spiritual and cultural heritage and national identity of Artsakh, the administrative and disciplinary problems of the Church, as well as the activities of the Donorate Chairs and dioceses.
