On Friday, Trump asked US lawmakers to investigate the mass killings of Christians by radical Islamists in Nigeria and report back to him on their findings.
The American leader also stated that he ranks Nigeria among the countries of "special concern". On Monday, Trump announced that he does not rule out sending troops to Nigeria or conducting airstrikes on the country.
