Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the head of NATO's military committee, accepted the impasse of ongoing military operations in Ukraine and called for negotiations. His words were quoted by the BBC.
"It's time to sit down and talk, because the conflict in Ukraine is a loss of lives," he commented on the situation on the Ukrainian front from an operational point of view.
Dragone also noted that the North Atlantic Alliance does not intend to give up its support to Kiev, noting that it will continue until Ukraine is "at the table of long-term peace negotiations".
