Iran's authorities do not know how much 60% enriched uranium survived after Israel and the US struck the country's nuclear facilities in June, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera, his Telegram channel reported.
"It (uranium) is where it was before the attack. Most of it, or rather almost all of it, is in ruins. We do not intend to mine it until conditions are created for it. We also do not have information about how much of the 400 kilograms remained unharmed and how much was destroyed," Araghchi said.
Thus, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry answered the question about the current location of 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%.
However, there were earlier reports that Iran may have moved uranium from the Fordow facility to a safe location a few days before the US strike.
