The appeals court of Paris will consider the request to release former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, reports Agence France-Presse (AFP), referring to its source.
"On November 10, the appeals court of Paris will examine the request for the release of Nicolas Sarkozy," the message states.
It was reported earlier that Sarkozy is under round-the-clock police surveillance due to possible threats.
On October 21, Nicolas Sarkozy was transferred to a Paris prison to serve a five-year prison sentence imposed on him by the Libyan authorities in the case of illegal financing of his 2007 election campaign. In his last statement before being transferred to prison, the politician mentioned.
