US President Donald Trump, in connection with the Ukrainian crisis, stated that sometimes the parties to the conflict should be allowed to fight.
"We agreed with Chinese President Xi Jinping that both sides are focused on fighting, and sometimes I think they should be allowed to fight," the US leader said, answering questions from reporters on the plane after talks with Xi Jinping.
The US president expressed confidence that China will help in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
"We talked about this for a long time. We will work together to see if we can do something," Trump said on his way to Washington.
