Israel has struck two areas in southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes have carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon's Mahmudiya and Jormok regions, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

"Enemy airstrikes are carried out on Mahmudia and Jormuk, near the village of Aishia," the agency writes.

Earlier on Thursday night, the Israeli army carried out an attack deep in southern Lebanon. The special unit attacked the Blida municipality building one kilometer from the border, killing an administrative employee. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called these actions a gross violation of the country's sovereignty.

Lebanese authorities have repeatedly stated that Israel continues to systematically violate the sovereignty of the republic, despite the ceasefire agreement.
