During lunch with South Korean President Lee Jae-myun, US President Donald Trump was treated to a "peaceful dessert" - a golden brownie served with seasonal fruit and buckwheat tea. The photo of the menu was published by Bloomberg.
The main dish was the "Korean Plate" made of American beef, chestnuts, mushrooms, carrots and radishes. "Korean flavors meet American spirit to celebrate a long friendship," reads the menu's caption.
Earlier, the South Korean leader presented Trump with a gilded replica of the crown of the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla, as well as the country's highest state award, the Order of Mugunghwa. The meeting of the two leaders takes place in the city of Gyeongju.
Trump has repeatedly claimed that during the eight months of his presidency, he has put an end to eight conflicts.
