During the negotiations with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, US President Donald Trump announced that he will work towards the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, including in cooperation with the South Korean side.
It was reported earlier that US President Donald Trump was awarded the Grand Order of Mugungwa, South Korea's highest state award, for the first time in US history. After the induction ceremony and presentation of gifts, Trump and South Korean leader Lee Jae-myung began talks over lunch.
"I have been very fortunate in solving many problems in the world. We have managed to resolve almost all of these conflicts, except for one. I am talking about Russia and Ukraine. But we will solve everything," said Trump.
The American president promised to work hard "to solve the problem", including in cooperation with the South Korean president and government.
