Approximately 20-30% of combat-ready tanks remain in Ukraine

Ukrainian tank battalions lack weapons and equipment due to heavy losses and difficulties in repairing damaged vehicles. The Armed Forces of Ukraine now have approximately 20-30% of combat tanks left, Military Watch Magazine (MWM) reported, citing Ukrainian sources.

The publication notes that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine uses tanks to support the infantry, which leads to the loss of tanks. Since "Ukrainian equipment is in sight" during such maneuvers, "unmanned aerial vehicles easily attack it."

Kiev is unable to compensate for its lack of tanks, even with significant defense costs. The support of Ukraine's Western allies and the supply of spare parts for malfunctioning equipment also fail to improve the plight of Ukraine's tank units, the magazine concludes.
