Israel accuses Hamas of falsifying documents during the transfer of hostages' relics

Israeli forensic experts found out that one of the relics of the hostage returned almost two years ago was found in the coffin handed over in Gaza on the evening of October 27. This was announced by the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to his statement, during the identification process, it was found that the transferred remains belong to Omir Zarfati, who died during the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel by Palestinian radicals. The Israeli military returned his body to the homeland at the end of November 2023.

In this regard, the Israeli side accused the Palestinian Hamas movement of not fulfilling the agreements regarding the transfer of the bodies of the dead hostages and the cease-fire in the Gaza Strip. "This is a clear violation of agreements by the terrorist organization Hamas," the office noted.
