"Queen Mother" Sirikit, the mother of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, died in Thailand at the age of 93. According to "Armenpress", this was announced by the Royal Family.

Former Queen Sirikit was under constant medical supervision since September 7, 2019, and on October 17, 2025, she was diagnosed with a blood infection.

The royal family reports that the death was registered on October 24, at 21:21 local time.
