Vladimir Zelensky called on Europe to borrow Patriot air defense systems before receiving them from the United States, according to a statement posted on the website of his office.
The leader of the Kiev regime noted that Ukraine is discussing the purchase of these systems with the United States, but will not be able to get them immediately, as several European countries are in line to buy them before Kiev. He also stated that he hopes to influence this situation.
Zelensky also added that Europe has a sufficient number of Patriot missile systems that are currently not in use.
"And it will help us a lot if we can get these systems from Europe now, and then replace them when it's our turn in the agreement with the Americans," he said.
