US President Donald Trump has announced that he is open to the idea of a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as part of his Asian tour.
"I am 100% open to it. I have a good relationship with him," the American leader said in a conversation with journalists on the plane.
As previously announced by White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt, Trump will visit Malaysia, Japan and the Republic of Korea. He will participate not only in bilateral negotiations, but also in ASEAN and CSTO events. Talks between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are scheduled for October 30 in South Korea.
