The White House is concerned about Trump's safety

The White House is concerned about the security of US President Donald Trump, after protesters were able to approach him in a Washington restaurant in September, Axios reports, citing sources.

In September, according to the portal, protesters from the Codepink peace organization approached Trump while he was with his team at a Washington restaurant near the White House, chanting "Free Washington" and "Free Palestine" slogans. After that, the US secret service removed the protesters from the president.

An unnamed Secret Service official told the news outlet that all customers at the restaurant, including protesters with reservations, were screened before Trump arrived that day. However, Axios reports that the White House has not announced Trump's plans to visit the restaurant.

It is said that Trump's unannounced visit to the restaurant was intended to confirm his claims that Washington has become safer since the deployment of the National Guard there.
