As a result of Turkey's mediation, Israel allowed 66 people to leave the Gaza Strip. Among them were also 16 members of the family of the deceased leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh. According to "Middle East Eye", there were both Palestinians and Turkish citizens among the people taken out of Gaza.
It is noted that Israel's consent was given on the basis of the list presented by Turkey.
