The Turkish Parliament has adopted the decree of the President of Turkey on the extension of the terms of the temporary military services carried out by the country's armed forces in the Middle East.

According to the decree, Turkey's military presence in the armed forces deployed by the United Nations in Lebanon will be maintained until 2027, and in Syria and Iraq until 2028.

Let's remind that the UN forces were deployed in Lebanon in 2006, according to the decision adopted by the structure on August 11, and Turkey was included in the UN armed forces stationed in Syria for a period of 1 year, according to the decision adopted by the parliament on September 5, 2006.
