On October 15, as a result of operative-investigative measures undertaken jointly by the officers of the Gegharkunik Regional Department of the Criminal Police and the Sevan Community Police, a 31-year-old resident of Martuni city was found in the yard of one of the buildings on Sevanetsu Street in Sevan, arrested on suspicion of possession, use and sale of drugs and took the "Kia" car he was driving to the department. His personal search turned up psychotropic pills and 7 packages of dried, crushed powder with a strong smell, weighing a total of 6.41 grams.
It was found that there are psychotropic pills in the car of the young man, which was taken to a specially protected area.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated. 132 psychotropic pills were found during the search of the "Kia" car.
The young man from Martunet was presented to the pre-investigative body, then arrested and taken to the place of detention for those arrested.
An investigation is underway.
