US President Donald Trump has announced that Washington will investigate and properly address violations of the ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian radical Hamas movement.
"We will investigate what is happening. We want to make sure that everything is extremely peaceful with Hamas. As you know, they were quite adamant, they even shot.
"Maybe the leadership of Hamas is not involved in this and these are dissenting voices within the movement, but either way we will deal with it properly," the US leader said on his plane from Florida.
On his way back to Washington. Trump added that further steps on this issue are "being discussed".
Earlier, the state "Can" broadcasting TV station reported that the US Vice President J.D. Vance and the special representative of the US president, Stephen Wittkoff, will visit Israel this week.
