Roman Berezovsky became the new head of the Russian community in Armenia. This is reported by Sputnik Armenia.
The legendary goalkeeper and former captain of the Armenian national football team accepted the offer of the Russian community council to lead the organization.
"Team spirit has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I realized that it is important not only to play together on the field, but also to work together outside of it for the good of society," he said.
In his new role, Berezovsky considers the comprehensive strengthening of the relations between the Armenian-Russian peoples as his main mission.
