On October 19, at 10:20 a.m., the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department was alerted that smoke was visible from the window of one of the houses on Sakharov Street in Vardenis.
Two combat teams from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene.
The fire was contained at 11:07 a.m. and extinguished at 2:22 p.m. The kitchen of the house, the corridor (about 25 square meters) with property and the wooden roof (about 40 square meters) were burned.
