The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) violated the cease-fire regime in the Gaza Strip 47 times within eight days after the announcement of the cease-fire, the enclave's press service reports.
"Since the cease-fire came into effect in Gaza, Israel has violated it 47 times, as a result of which 38 people were killed and 143 others were injured," the statement published on the Ministry's Telegram channel said.
The office emphasized that violations were registered "in the entire enclave". According to the Gaza authorities, during the same period, the Israeli forces arrested several residents of the enclave.
On October 9, US President Donald Trump announced that representatives of Israel and the radical Palestinian Hamas movement reached an agreement on the first phase of the peace plan, which provides for the release of all hostages held in the Gaza Strip and the withdrawal of Israeli troops to agreed positions.
