Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will have a telephone conversation and discuss the organization of the Russia-US summit, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov announced.
"First, we are talking about the work of Foreign Minister Lavrov and Secretary of State Rubio on this issue. They will call and meet, discuss the whole topic, all issues," said Peskov, answering journalists' questions about a possible Russia-US summit in Hungary.
The telephone conversation between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump took place on Thursday and was one of the longest this year. After the conversation, Trump announced that he will meet with the Russian leader in Budapest.
