The meeting between Trump and Zelensky will last for two hours and will be held behind closed doors

The White House has announced that the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky will last for two hours, after which Trump will leave for the city of Palm Beach, Florida, to spend the weekend.

According to the schedule of the American leader, the negotiations will take place in the form of a working lunch without the presence of journalists. On October 16, Zelensky arrived in Washington. The American leader announced that the leader of the Kiev regime will ask him to supply Ukraine with "Tomahawk" cruise missiles.

As Axios noted, Zelensky was optimistic about his upcoming meeting with Trump and his alleged willingness to supply Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

However, shortly after landing in the United States, the Ukrainian delegation was surprised by the American leader's telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the announcement of an agreement to hold a summit in Hungary, "the most unfriendly country in the European Union towards Ukraine."
