Former US President Joe Biden thanked the US administration led by Donald Trump for a ceasefire in Gaza and expressed hope for a peaceful future in the Middle East.
"Now, with the support of the United States and the world, the Middle East is on the way to peace, which, I hope it will be for peace, dignity and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. I thank President Trump and his team for their work, "Biden wrote on his X page.
He also noted his administration's efforts to stop the war, returning from captivity to Israeli hostages and provide assistance to Palestinian civilians. The former president stressed that "the road to reach an agreement was not easy."
Biden said that it was relieved of the return of the ceasefire and "countless casualties" in the Causals of the Gaza Civilian population.
