The men who stole the passenger's wallet on the bus were arrested as a result of operational and investigative measures jointly undertaken by the criminal detectives of the Yerevan Police Department and the Mashtots Department. On the same day, a 55-year-old woman presented herself to the Mashtots department and reported that her wallet, which contained 65,000 drams, foreign currency and bank cards, was stolen from her bag on the bus. The stolen money was found. The documents were handed over to the investigative department. The person suspected or accused of the alleged crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure established by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia by a legally binding judgment of the court.
