On May 21, the delegation headed by Mrs. Carol Spahn, director of the US Peace Corps Central Office, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by Joan Fairley, director of the Peace Corps Armenia Office. This was reported by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
The members of the delegation from the USA laid flowers near the eternal flame and observed a minute of silence in memory of one and a half million innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The guests also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, where, accompanied by Lusine Abrahamyan, deputy director of museum works of the Armenian Genocide Museum, they got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibitions, after which Mrs. Carol Spahn made a note in the memorial book of honored guests.
