The EU and Moldova signed an agreement on partnership in the field of security

The European Union and Moldova signed an agreement on defense and security partnership. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, said: "Moldova became the first country to sign a security and defense agreement with the European Union. Such a partnership will increase the stability of this country. It will allow us to jointly solve security problems, make our interaction more effective, explore new areas of cooperation," Borel wrote on the X social platform. According to Reuters, in March, Moldovan President Maia Sandu signed a defense cooperation agreement with France, noting that Russia is again making efforts to destabilize Moldova.
