The Israeli Air Force attacked Hezbollah's central naval base in Beirut.

The Israeli air force attacked the central naval base of the Shiite movement Hezbollah in Beirut, and also attacked weapons depots and command centers of this organization in the Lebanese capital. This was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
"The Israeli Air Force carried out strikes on weapons depots, Hezbollah command centers and additional terrorist targets in Beirut. Among the targets in Beirut was the central base of Hezbollah's naval unit, where military speedboats and a training center were located," the statement said. “The boats of the [Hezbollah] naval unit were intended for use in attacks on Israeli Navy ships, as well as against naval and strategic targets in Israeli territorial waters,” the press service noted. The military added that “some of the targets were located underground." "Prior to the strikes, numerous measures were taken to reduce the risk of harm to civilians, including sending accurate and early warnings to the area," the press service noted.
