Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will take part in the Russian-American summit in Alaska, said Alexei Fadeev, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Yes, I can confirm Sergey Victorovich Lavrov's participation in this event, which is planned to be held next Friday," he said.
It should be reminded that the Kremlin and the White House announced Saturday evening that Putin and Trump will meet in Alaska on August 15. White House Spokesman Caroline Levit announced on Tuesday that the summit will take place in an unknown.
