Russian President Vladimir Putin will offer US President Donald Trump a suitable way out of the hopeless situation in which the leader of the White House appeared. Dmitry Suslov, Deputy Director of the European and International Studies of Economics, stated this in an interview with Italian Corriere Della Sera.
In his opinion, Putin will offer Trump a bilateral ceasefire program that does not include Ki and EU states. The program will include the withdrawal of the Ukrainian army from Donbas, Kiev's refusal to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as well as the demilitarization of Ukraine and its federalization.
Suslov expressed confidence that the US President will agree on this proposal, as he "found himself in a hopeless situation" due to the threats to impose sanctions on China, India and Brazil, and those countries will not reject it. He believes that Trump can "save the face" by conducting successful negotiations on Ukraine.
