The Congress of Spain (Lower Chamber of parliament) did not join the joint declaration of 22 European parliaments to support Ukraine, ABC reports.
The initiative came from one of the Baltic countries and officially sent to the chairmen of the Foreign Relations Committees of the European Parliaments through Brussels to support their support.
In the case of Spain, the recipient was Socialist Juan Carlos Ruis Buj, who "responded in silence," the newspaper writes. It notes that the parliamentarian did not ask for additional information or did not present any arguments in favor of his decision.
Ruis Buj also did not transfer the initiative to his counterpart, conservative Jug Migrangio Landalus to be able to assess his support and thus present his palace.
Spain? The Socialist faction refused to comment on the incident.
