The Caspian Sea summit will take place in August 2026, according to Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehhan, during his speech at the Caspian Sea, Sea of Peace and Friendship.
"I am glad to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran will host the 7th summit of Caspian Coastal Coastal States in August 2026. We hope that the Caspian Sea Day and the 20th anniversary of the Tehran Convention will be proud to host the Presidents of the Caspian Sea in Tehran, "he said.
Ruzbhani added that Iran also intends to host the first international meeting of the governors of the Caspian Sea coastal states in 2025.
