US President Donald Trump has not yet affected India's purchases of Russian oil, according to Bloomberg, citing four weeks of delivery ended on August 202, 2025.
"The threat of establishing additional customs duties on India has not affected oil supplies from Russian ports," the report said.
The average volume of sea transport of Russian oil in this period amounted to 3.11 million barrels per day, which is only 3% lower than the previous four weeks adjusted.
Indian oil refersters have started buying oil from alternative suppliers, but the real impact on Russian exports will only become clear in a few weeks, the agency said.
