The Zapad-2025 strategic military exercises of Belarus and Russia will be held on September 12-16. This was reported by the Head of the International Military Cooperation Department - Assistant to the International Military Cooperation of the Minister of Defense of Belarus Valeri Renenko.
"Zapad-2025 joint strategic military exercises of the Republic of Belarus will take place on September 12-14 2025," he said during a briefing.
According to him, the topic of exercises will be the use of troops, in the interests of ensuring the military security of the Union State.
"The overall goal is to check the capacity of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation for ensuring the military security of the Union, and the possible aggression background," said Renko.
He stressed that Minsk pursues a peace-loving policy and is implementing a number of events aimed at ensuring the state's military security.
