Yerevan and Baku have removed the issue of establishing Zangezur corridor on the negotiation agenda, which will be under the jurisdiction of Azerbaijan. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, explaining that the talks are now relating to a transit route, which does not violate Armenia's sovereignty.
"The idea of creating a transport corridor has completely lost its meaning. Now we are talking about creating a transit highway, which will be under Armenia's jurisdiction and will be managed by a joint Armenian-American company, which is also registered in Armenia, "he said.
According to Argerran, Tehran consults on the parameters of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict settlement with Yerevan, in particular, a telephone conversation with RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the RA Deputy Foreign Minister's visit. The name of the Armenian diplomat leaving for Tehran was not mentioned.
