According to the estimates of economists and other experts, the first and main reason is that it is in Syunik that Armenia's No. 1 largest taxpayer, Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum, operates. the combine. It should be taken into account that the combine has around 5,000 employees, and it is this company that provides employment for citizens living in the region. If we add to this that ZPMK also solves many social issues in Syunik, then the picture becomes more complete."
