Saudi Arabia welcomed the initialing of the Peace Agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia spoke about this. The statement said that Saudi Arabia welcomes the announcement of the Peace Agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and appreciates the sponsorship of the United States to that Agreement.
Saudi Arabia has also expressed hope that the agreement will mark the launch of a new phase of Armenia-Azerbaijan's understanding, cooperation, as well as the interests of the two peoples and the interests of the Caucasus region.
