Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modine will chair the main ministers of government on Friday to discuss the consequences of the sharp increase in customs duties by the United States, India TV reports.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 13:00 local time (at 10:30 Moscow time).
"Despite no official announcement on the agenda, a number of media outlets report that the tariffs will be in the center of attention," the channel reported.
In late July, US President Donald Trump announced the definition of 25% customs duties on goods imported from India, citing trade duties on New Delhi, commercial barriers and "cooperation with Russia."
