Russian President Vladimir Putin called the United Arab Emirates a friendly country for Russia.
Earlier, RIA Novosti correspondent said that the talks between Putin and UAE President Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan began in the Kremlin.
"I am very happy to see you in the Russian capital again, we attach special importance to relations with the United Arab Emirates, it is a friendly country for us," said the head of state during the Russian-Emirati talks.
Putin added that the relations between Russia and the UAE are maintained at a high political level.
