The Turkish side has not yet received any specific signal between Russia and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on the possibility of negotiations in the territory of the republic next week, the Turkish diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.
Trump has previously stated that there is a high possibility of meeting Putin "very soon". According to him, the details of the meeting have not been decided yet.
On Wednesday, New York Times citing two families familiar with US President's plans claimed that Trump intends to meet with Putin next week, and shortly afterwards, he had trilateral talks with Putin and Vladimir Zelopinsky.
"There are no specific signals yet," said the agency's source, answering the question about the possibility of negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has previously announced that he plans to discuss their possible meeting with Trump and Putin.
