Politico. EU dissatisfaction grows over US customs duties agreement

In the EU countries, disappointment is growing about the agreements reached after trade negotiations with the United States due to the lack of many shortcomings and details, Politico European edition reports.

"The so-called deal is still not a deal. We need clarity, "Bernd Lange, head of the German MEPs and the European Parliament's International Trade Committee, told the publication. Politico notes that very important details of the agreement are still absent since the announcement on the Agreement on July 27.

Chief General Director of the European Union of Trade and Industry, Ben Batters, said that Brussels has not yet been linked to the Association's National Chambers and Entrepreneurities to clarify the details of the deal with the United States.

"The European Commission is currently not in touch with our members, so we are still waiting for the details. We think that they are still trying to clarify what the titles agreed on Sunday meant, "he said.
