The President of Georgia joined the march entitled "Georgia chooses the European Union".

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili joined the rally organized by the opposition ahead of the parliamentary elections in Tbilisi. This was reported by the TASS reporter from the scene.

"I am sure that tomorrow there will be many of us, tomorrow I will be with you. We will say "no" and say goodbye to one-partyism, polarization and hatred for each other," the Georgian president said.

"We will enter the European Union together," he addressed the leaders of Moldova and Ukraine. Supporters of the Georgian opposition held a march in Tbilisi a week before the parliamentary elections in support of the country's integration into the European Union.

Several thousand residents of the capital, carrying Georgian and EU flags, marched from five different districts of Tbilisi under the title "Georgia chooses the European Union". Parliamentary elections in Georgia will take place on October 26.
