Russia's People's Artist Nikolai Baskov has been declared wanted in Ukraine. This information appeared in the Ukrainian security service database.

According to the Ukrainian security service, Baskov has been wanted since 2022. He is accused of harassing the country's territorial integrity and immunity (Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On February 25, 2022, Baskov published an entry into the launch of the Russian military operation in Ukraine and called it "Prevention of Assembly of the Genocide and Russia."

In 2024, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenky deprived him of the status of the People's Artist of the country.
