The Republic of Armenia is obliged not to sign any document predetermining the status of Artsakh within Azerbaijan. The occupation of Artsakh was not recorded or condemned by the RA authorities, on the contrary, it is being legitimized. The "HayaVote" initiative made a statement about it.

The Supreme Council of RA in 1992 adopted a decision on July 8, according to which: 1/ the Republic of Armenia must consistently support the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh and the protection of the rights of its population, 2/ any international or domestic document in which the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh will be mentioned as part of Azerbaijan is unacceptable for the Republic of Armenia ", the statement says.
