In that regard, a great place is given to museums, because the latter are heavily involved in the preservation and popularization of the values that make up the cultural identity of the country. Museums are not only structures that collect, study, publicize and preserve cultural values and collections, but also make a serious contribution to tourism, cultural and social. in communication. Therefore, museums can rightfully be considered a source of socio-economic development of the country. Due to the valuing of the role of museums in social life, culture communication and cultural education, various public organizations are coming to the scene day by day, which take the initiative of creating museums of various content and orientation. It turns out that these initiatives appear under the name "museum" and, in fact, in most cases do not correspond to it at all. On the other hand, there are valuable private collections that are not available to the public, and there is a need to create such favorable mechanisms that will interest the owners of those collections to make them public. Therefore, the solution to the problem of regulating the sector and having unified state standards for creating a museum is to have a procedure and standards for the accreditation of museums. through their accreditation, contribute to the decentralization and revitalization of cultural life. The adoption of the decision does not result in an increase or decrease of revenues and expenses in the budget of the state or local self-government body."
