The desire of the United States and the EU to push Russia out of the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, increases security threats in the region. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told RIA Novosti about this.
"We consider it important to strengthen the peace process in the regional model, within friends, in the countries of the South Caucasus, excluding foreign destructive intervention," he said.
According to Lavrov, Moscow is ready to provide partnership between Baku and Yerevan for the successful completion of the trilateral agreements on the basis of the trilateral agreements between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenian leaders, in the amount that will be required by both sides.
