Erdogan expressed hope that the conflict in Ukraine will end soon

In the negotiations in Istanbul, a ceasefire and peace can be opened in Ukraine. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a news conference after participating in the NATO summit at the Hague, expressing hope about the rapid settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. The broadcast was conducted by TRT HABER channel.

"We believe that negotiations in Istanbul have opened an opportunity for ceasefire and long peace. This cannot be missed. Our goal is to settle for long peace, supporting the parties to further concrete steps. I continue to hope that the war will end as soon as possible. Ինչպես միշտ ասել եմ, արդար խաղաղության մեջ պարտվողներ չպետք է լինեն», – ասել է Էրդողանը։

According to him, Turkey continues to make active efforts to "end the war with just and lasting peace."
